Independent Hajj Reports Bestows Award on Governor Mutfwang for Exceptional Leadership. By Yasir Isma'il Yahaya

The Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang has commended the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) for its efficient and effective service and has also challenged it to do more in that regard. 

Speaking at the Abuja Central Mosque , Auditorium during the presentation of an award to the Governor by Independent Hajj Reports, the Governor appreciated the organization for finding him worthy of a Special Service Award.

Represented by the Chief Imam of Jos, Sheikh Garzali Adam, the Governor noted that the award meant a lot to the Muslim Ummah of Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

Executive Secretary, Plateau State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, Alh. Daiyabu Dauda who also spoke at the event praised Governor Mutfwang for his support to the Board on account of which a lot of progress has been made.

In his response, Co-ordinator, Independent Hajj Reports, Sulaiman Muhammad revealed that the reason the Governor was conferred with the award was that despite being of a different faith, he provided vehicles to the Board, sponsored many pilgrims, completed pilgrims' BTA, hence, it was to encourage him to do more.

Others on the entourage of the governor's representative were the Board Chairman, Alh. Danladi Kwari, Hajiya Jamila Gwando, management and some staff of the Board.

Highpoint of the event was the presentation of the award to the recipient.
