1.   Government has also refurbished and donated a former Secondary infrastructure in Kopal village to federal government for use as Road Safety Corps Academy

2.   A model school in Ajikamai village has an administrative block, laboratory and multipurpose hall. It also has six hostel blocks, 32 classrooms, libraries, stores and staff quarters. It is expected to be completed in months.

It has Primary School with ramps for wheelchairs of disabled students, school and public toilets as well as 1500 capacity multipurpose hall in Yelwan Shendam village is 85% completed.

Only tiling, ceiling and electrical fitting were ongoing as of the time of inspection.

3.   Road rehabilitation work from Longvel, through Yelwan Shendam to Mato village, a Taraba border community in Shendam, Governor Lalong’s home LGA. The Federal road funded by the State links Ajikamai, Governor Lalong’s home village and a spur to rice processing plant in Gangnim Farm Center in Langtang South. It is expected to be completed in four months.

4.   A near 20year-old bridge between Kallong and Shendam town, rebuilt after being washed off by floods in 2015 has been completed and put to use. Similarly, a road infrastructure from Langtang to Yelwan Shendam through Garkawa towns with a spur to Laling village is almost completing. The 70km road has over 40km asphalt and shoulder works completed.

5.   200 bed capacity hospitals in Shendam is 70% completed. It is expected to serve as the training institute of the Faculty of Medical Sciences in Plateau State University.

6.   Construction of Water treatment plant in Yelwan Shendam. It is expected to supply water to Ajikamai, Yelwa and nearby villages. The project is partly funded by the European Union,

7.    Renovation of Government Secondary School Shendam, through donor agencies .

Reviving of Langtang water Treatment Plant in Langtang, constructed by a past administration but closed for years due to broken down machines and infrastructure

Now it can already supplies 45,000 cubic meters of water per day and the people of the Locality enjoys water supply thrice in a week.





LETEP DABANG AND WIFE, REVALIDATE THEIR PARTY MEMBERSHIP, REASSURE OF MORE COMMITMENT.

 

Caretaker Committee Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC in Plateau State, Hon Letep Dabang says the APC remains the most formidable party that has left its doors open to genuine members and admirers to operate and join.

He said the gigantic gains recorded by the party will be sustained for the future of Nigeria and Plateau State through purposeful governance.

Letep Dabang spoke amidst a mammoth crowd of supporters of the APC who came to welcome him to his traditional home, Zong in Jing village of Pankshin Local Government Area.

Flanked by his wife Joanne, the duo took their time to fill and submit all necessary documents under the supervision of the Revalidation/Registration committee from the national headquarters of the party.

Letep while calling on the people to keep faith with the APC appreciated the crowd and urged them to continue their revalidation as well as encourage those who have come to register newly that the party is a family and they will have no regrets joining.

He said "we will continue to stand by the principles of equity and equality in the affairs of the APC as such we welcome new members into our fold.I have seen this crowd and it has shown that there is no any other party that exists here. Even the opposition are admiring what we are doing because this exercise shows sincerity in our party"

 

Speaking at the brief ceremony,Speaker of the Plateau State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Nuhu Abok Ayuba, flanked by his Deputy Rt Hon Saleh Shehu Yipmong, Majority Leader, Na'anlong Daniel other Principal Officers and members of the House praised the leadership qualities of Letep Dabang describing him as a stabilizing factor in the party and who has successfully ensured discipline and commitment in the party in Plateau State.

 

He assured the Chairman of the support of members as he continues steering the affairs of the party.

 

Executive Chairman of Pankshin Local Government Council,Sir John Damap,ksm,APC Caretaker Committee Chairman for Pankshin LGA,Hon Timothy Yilmukwa as well as other stakeholders saluted the leadership

 qualities of Letep Dabang and assured him of their unalloyed support in moving the party forward.

 

The next point of call was the movement of the crowd to Jing Central where two other prominent sons of the community, Hon Stephen Abednego Jings, Commissioner Federal Character Commission and a Chieftain, Chief Maichibi Vwarji revalidated their membership in the presence of the Caretaker Committee Chairman of the party in the state,Letep Dabang and Revalidation/Registration Committee from Abuja.
