 Professor Patrick Sunday Dakum, the Chief Executive Officer Institute of Human Virology
Nigeria, IHVN, and Plateau Labour Party, LP, governorship candidate in the 2023 general elections, is a Colossus and forward-looking patriot whose belief in bettering the welfare of the citizens particularly the less privileged, hinges not on elective or appointive positions in government, but in the position individuals find themselves irrespective of the scope and magnitude.

It is his extraordinary unwavering empathy and kindness that inspired him to commence the process of establishing an NGO named Patrick Sunday Dakum Community Development Foundation with ten points’ aims and objectives as follows:

Healthcare Access: Improve access to healthcare services, especially in rural and under-served communities, through medical outreaches, health education programs, and partnerships with healthcare providers.

Education Support: Enhance educational opportunities for children and youth by providing scholarships, educational materials, and infrastructure improvements to schools in disadvantaged areas.

Community Development: Promote sustainable community development by supporting initiatives such as clean water projects, vocational training, and skills development programs.

Women and Youth Empowerment: Empower women and youth through entrepreneurship training, microfinance initiatives, and advocacy for gender equality and youth rights.

Environmental Conservation: Engage in environmental conservation efforts, including tree planting, waste management education, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices.

Cultural Preservation: Preserve and promote Nigerian culture and heritage through cultural festivals, art exhibitions, and support for traditional crafts and skills.

Health Awareness Campaigns: Conduct campaigns on public health issues such as malaria prevention, HIV/AIDS awareness, maternal health, and sanitation.

Disaster Relief and Emergency Response: Provide relief and assistance during emergencies and natural disasters, including distribution of relief materials and temporary shelter.

   - Establish partnerships with local healthcare providers to offer discounted or free healthcare services to underserved populations.

   - Train community health workers to educate locals on preventive healthcare measures.

2. Education Support:

   - Provide scholarships to students from disadvantaged backgrounds annually.

   - Equip and refurbish schools in rural areas with essential educational materials and infrastructure improvements.

   - Conduct mentoring programs to support the academic and personal development of students.

3. Community Development:

   - Implement clean water projects in communities without access to safe drinking water.

   - Train a specific number of individuals annually in vocational skills such as carpentry, tailoring, and computer literacy.

   - Establish community-led initiatives for sustainable agriculture and environmental conservation in villages.

4. Women and Youth Empowerment:
