Governor Sule who led a delegation comprising of traditional, religious and

Government officials from Nasarawa State said the visit was necessary because Plateau State remains a natural home for all Nigerians, especially the people of Nasarawa State who were part of the old Plateau State.

He sympathised with the people of Plateau State particularly those who lost loved ones, properties, animals and farm crops. On behalf of the Nasarawa State government, he delivered an official condolence letter and an undisclosed cash donation to assist those affected.

The Governor said it was painful to see the rich history of Plateau State known for its hospitality, serenity, tolerance and excellence being jeopardized by criminal activities using religion, ethnicity and politics.

Sule recalled with Nostalgia his growing days in Jos where people were united and loved one another irrespective of their differences. He wondered how people allowed the politics of hatred and religious bigotry to take pride over peaceful coexistence and humanity.

Responding, Governor Simon Lalong thanked the Government and the people of Nasarawa State for their support and solidarity which affirms the eternal bond that exists between the two States.

He told Governor Abdullahi Sule that what happened in the recent attacks was pure criminality which must not be given any other name for convenience or cover-up. He said the security agencies have made arrests and those arrested will be diligently prosecuted.

Lalong decried the misuse of social media and some parts of the traditional media by some citizens, particularly the youth who propagate falsehood, panic and hate speech. He said this has led to the de-marketing of the State.

He, however, expressed appreciation to good Nigerians and people of Plateau State who contributed to dousing tensions and ensuring the return of calm.

Thereafter, the meeting went into a closed-door session where further deliberations were held with traditional, religious and community leaders and the two Governors.

CHIEF OF DEFENCE STAFF IN PLATEAU; SAYS CITIZENS MUST WORK WITH SECURITY FORCES TO RESTORE PEACE

The Chief of Defence Staff Gen. Lucky Irabor has visited Plateau State to assess the security situation and interact with key stakeholders on how to ensure lasting peace in the State.

General Irabor on arrival paid a courtesy visit on Governor Simon Lalong at the new Government House Rayfield Jos where he explained that he was in the State as part of the mandate from President Muhammadu Buhari for the Armed Forces to do everything their schedule of duty to ensure that perpetrators are fished out and such attacks do not happen again.

During the stakeholders meeting held at the Victoria Gowon Hall, General Irabor said the meeting will afford him the opportunity to listen to the concerns and suggestions of all participants on the way forward.

He appealed to the people to cultivate trust with the Armed Forces and use all necessary channels to report any misconduct from the lowest to the highest level. He assured that no personnel will be allowed to go away with any act that runs contrary to the regulations of the Armed Forces.

Governor Simon Lalong while appreciating  President Muhammadu Buhari for his concern over the recent developments in the State, welcomed the CDS for his visit.

He said the situation has been stabilised but more work needs to be done both in terms of law enforcement and peace building.

The Governor reiterated that the people of Plateau State are peace-loving and accommodating, and wish to have the stability to pursue their living peacefully.

NULGE expresses dismay over the resurgence of killings and destruction of properties in the state

NULGE expresses dismay over the resurgence of killings and destruction of properties in the state

Nigeria Union of Local Government Employees (NULGE) is deeply saddened and condemns the unfortunate killing of innocent lives and property of Plateau citizens carried out by the enemies of progress.

President of the Plateau State Chapter of the Union Yohanna Arondong Makwin in statement commiserates with the Government and people of Plateau State over the dastardly act and admonishes citizens to shun the divisive antics being employed by conflict Merchants to set them apart.

Makwin notes with dismay the resurgence of senseless killings and destruction of property and mowing down of farm crops after all efforts and measures at the sustenance and consolidation of peace efforts attributed the recent mayhem to the desperate action of criminally-minded detractors, appealed for calm.

The Union leader pointed out, though it is very painful the untimely loss of the lives of loved ones and property, sued for the adoption of restraint and decorum in order not to yield to the wish of perpetrators whose wish is for an escalation of the situation through reprisal.

Makwin calls on citizens to support and cooperate with the Government and security agencies as they strive to contain the situation and unravel the identities of those responsible to bring them to justice.

He tasks citizens to be vigilant and volunteer credible information that will lead to forestall further occurrences.

The statement also calls on teeming members of the NULGE especially those who might have been victims of these dastardly acts to take solace and allow vengeance to God.

The statement similarly tasks Union members working in Bassa, Jos North, and South to comply

With the curfew being imposed and be wary of their safety.

THE EXIT OF A POLITICAL GIANT: LATE SEN. IBRAHIM NASIRU MANTU

THE EXIT OF A POLITICAL GIANT: LATE SEN. IBRAHIM NASIRU MANTU

By Ayuba Yilgak'ha

I am not used to, or favourably disposed to writing on famous men whose legacies are in the public
domain, but feel compelled to pen down some few things about Late Distinguished Sen. Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu who passed on recently. This was a man who rose in his political adventure to become one of the most vibrant Senators ever produced in the history of Nigerian Politics.

Before his demise in the early hours of Tuesday, August 17, 2021, the Late Senator was a rare breed African politician who made a clear statement as a charismatic political influence in Nigeria, especially, when he held sway as the Deputy Senate President between 2003 - 2007.

The deceased was a witty political giant with a unique capacity to decipher and wiggle his way out of any complex or dicey political situation characteristic of Nigerian politics. At a point in the country, this pragmatist assumed the status of a larger than the life political figure in Nigeria.

His journey to greatness began when the late Senator contested and won the Plateau Central Senatorial seat under the United Nigeria Congress Party (UNCP) but the victory was short-lived following the sudden death of the then Head of State Gen. Sani Abacha led to the consequential truncation of the democratic transition of that time. Not tired, the Distinguished Senator joined the All People Party (APP) at the resumption of another democratic transition under Gen. Abdulsalami in 1998 but later smartly left for the People's Democratic Party (PDP), contested for the same senatorial seat and again won convincingly.

After Four (4) years in the senate, the Late Senator was re-elected in 2003 in a most dramatic fashion and consequently went to become the Deputy Senate President of the 5th Senate. He was saddled with that great responsibility under one of the most turbulent senate regimes in Nigeria's political history. Late Sen. Mantu could best be described as a cat with nine lives because he survived as Deputy Senate President under two Senate Presidents, namely, Sen. Adolphus Wabara and Sen. Ken Nnamani.

During his two tenures in the Senate, the Distinguished Senator wooed several projects and appointments to his constituency and Plateau State in general. However, he was accused of facilitating the imposition of the controversial State of Emergency in Plateau State where all political structures were suspended under Governor Dariye's second tenure. His role also led to the impeachment of the governor, which was later voided by the Supreme Court.

Late Sen. Mantu was highly instrumental to the demystification of former governor J.C. Dariye's grip on power, influence, and the emergence of former governor Jonah David Jang as the executive governor of Plateau state in 2007. This was how powerful this man was before his failed attempt to return to the Red Chamber for the third time.

The defeat of Late Sen. Mantu by his successor Distinguished Sen. Satty Davies Gogwim of blessed memory was a huge blow and this marked the beginning of the political decline of this great man of influence.

One of the things that cannot be taken away from this political juggernaut was that he was on top of his game and was a game-changer per excellence. The man was a sound political wizard who knew his onions very well in the game of Politics!

Late Sen. Mantu was a tested political orator whose oration was a sight to behold. The man has this magical voice with a natural talent in social re-engineering which is coveted political asset any politician worth his salt cannot afford to lack. He died as an elder statesman full of grace in statecraft.

Late Nasiru Mantu was a towering political compendium. His knowledge of relevant political history was quite legendary. His contribution to the political development of Nigeria cannot be wished away; not even by his political enemies. This man was indeed a seasoned doyen whose contribution to Nigeria's political history spanned decades.

The deceased was a master strategist, a team player and a grassroots mobilizer. He was a national figure whose political clout extended beyond the shows of Nigeria. Though not a political scientist, Late Mantu was a brand, a reliable political consultant who nurtured and mentored so many in the art of politics.

The dead of Mantu is indeed the end of an eventful political era. However, it brought together waring political gladiators from Plateau state and Nigeria who converged on his residence in Abuja to bid him farewell. Such convergence could be leveraged to build bridges of understanding and lasting reunion strange political bedfellows.

The rainbow gathering of Late Mantu's family members, friends, and political associates to mourn this great political phenomenon can be updated through memorial lecturers to sustain his legacies. A great patriot has departed, but indeed his unique political school of thought shall continue to remain a debatable thesis with great potentials to deepen Nigeria's political jurisprudence.

A great vacuum has been created in Nigeria's political space. Rest In Peace Distinguished. Comfort to the immediate family. Comfort to Plateau Central Senatorial District. Comfort to Plateau State. Comfort the Nigerian National Assembly especially the Red Chamber. Comfort to the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

PLATEAU APC STAKEHOLDERS DENOUNCE RECENT ATTACKS; PASS VOTE OF CONFIDENCE ON GOVERNOR LALONG

APC Stakeholders in Plateau State have unanimously condemned the recent attacks in various areas of Bassa, Jos North, Jos South, Riyom, Mangu and Barkin Ladi Local Government where lives were lost and properties destroyed.

The meeting held at the Victoria Gowon Hall, Government House Rayfield Jos was presided over by the acting Chairman of the APC, Hon. Enock Fanmak.

The meeting condemned the recent attacks describing them as callous, unwarranted and barbaric. They said this has caused untold hardship to the people of the affected areas and entire State especially when curfew was imposed on three Local Government Areas.

While commiserating with the effected families, the APC stakeholders appealed to all citizens of Plateau State to rally round the Government and also encourage the Governor and security agencies to continue to work hard in arresting criminals and bringing them to justice.

They expressed disappointment over the attempt by some politicians in the State as well as other interests outside to fuel the crises in a bit to make personal gains from it. This they said amounted to a great disservice to the people of the State who want to live in peace and enjoy their lives.

Governor Lalong while addressing the party faithfuls thanked them for their support and loyalty which he said was a major source of encouragement for the Government during this trying moment.

He said the Government has taken measures to beef up security, follow up on dialogue, reconciliation and forgiveness, as well as make sure that those arrested for the attacks are prosecuted to serve as deterrence.

There after, the party went into a closed door session to discuss other party issues relating to the Local Government congresses coming up soon.

The meeting came up with various resolutions towards holding peaceful Local Government congresses and resolving all differences arising from the exercise.

C.J.DAKAS ADVOCATES SYNERGY TO ADDRESS CURRENT CHALLENGES.

A legal luminary, Professor Dakas Clement Dakas has urged governments at all levels to synergize with religious and traditional leaders to address the security challenges facing the country.

Dakas, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN) and former Dean of Law, University of Jos, while decrying the manipulation of religion, ethnicity and other sectoral fault-lines to heat up the system for parochial interests also tasked security agencies to be more proactive, fair and intelligence-driven in their operations to solve the issue of insecurity in the nation.

Prof. Dakas, who condemned the barbaric and dastardly killings, including the destruction of properties, in Jos North, Riyom and Bassa Local Government Areas of Plateau State recently also sympathized with the victims and called for the immediate apprehension and prosecution of the perpetrators to serve as a deterrent to centrifugal forces and those who harbour criminal and other sinister intentions.

He urged Plateau citizens to build bridges across religious and ethnic divides for the progress of the state and the entire country.

The legal luminary, also frowned at the abuse of social media to peddle fake, concocted and unverified stories that heat up the polity and cause great havoc on the nation.

Pro. Dakas urged Plateau citizens to be calm and exercise their rights within the framework of the law.

He expressed confidence that Plateau State and Nigeria as a nation would overcome these challenges in no distant time to enable political leadership to provide democracy dividends and foster national integration for holistic national development.

JOS NORTH STAKEHOLDERS VOW TO EXPOSE TROUBLEMAKERS AS THEY MEET GOVERNOR LALONG.

Hours after relaxing the 24-hour curfew imposed on Jos North Local Government Area, Plateau State Governor Simon Bako Lalong has held a meeting with stakeholders from the area to consolidate on efforts to sustain peace.

Governor Lalong while addressing the stakeholders said the recent attacks in the Local Government Area is very disturbing and has brought back sour memories that have been almost forgotten.

He thanked the stakeholders for their roles in calming the tension as well as assisting security agencies to bring the situation under control. However, he told them that there must be deliberate efforts to ensure that there is no more violence.

The Governor said the administration has done a lot to improve security in the State in the last six years through various avenues including the Peace Building Agency. He asked them to take control of their areas as the Government will not allow the breakdown of law and order under any guise.

Lalong regretted that the Government has been forced to use curfew as a last resort, but this can be avoided through dialogue and continuous engagement. He also assured them that he will continue to uphold justice and fairness which is the bedrock for peace.

During the meeting held at the Government House Rayfield Jos, the stakeholders expressed dismay over the recent attacks that led to the loss of lives and properties leading to the imposition of curfews.

They said most of the crises are pure criminality that is usually exploited using politics, religion and ethnicity to the point of escalation. According to them, the time has come for all well-meaning citizens of Jos North to come together and fish out criminals among them to be punished.

The stakeholders assured the Governor that they will increase surveillance within their communities to fish out those instigating the crises as well as perpetrators in order to maintain peace.

They also warned those fuelling the situation in Jos North through provocative statements to desist as they will no longer watch and see people from outside the State instigating violence while they bear the brunt.

The effort of Governor Lalong in restoring peace in Plateau State over the past six years was also commended because there has been more engagement, empowerment of security agencies, equity and fair representation, and efforts to boost economic growth.

Drug and substance abuse, fake news and hate speech were also raised as some of the most disturbing issues that are heightening tensions unnecessarily which the Government must rise up to address.

PLATEAU GOVERNMENT DENIES SEALING HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY

The attention of the Plateau State Government has been drawn to allegations made by the Speaker of the House, Rt. Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba who appeared on Channels TV programme on Monday 30th August claiming that the Assembly Complex has been sealed.

This false allegation has further been circulated on social media associating the Executive arm of Government and the Governor as being behind it.

We wish to make it abundantly clear that the Executive arm of Government and the Governor is not aware or behind the purported sealing of the House as it does not dabble into the affairs of another independent arm of Government.

It is on record that His Excellency, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako was the first Governor to implement full Autonomy for the legislature and Judiciary as well as Local Government in the country.

It is therefore not possible for him to be associated with any action that will impede on the activities of the House which has its rules and conventions.

The Governor remains the longest serving Speaker of the House in the history of democracy in Plateau State, understands the workings of the House, and has demonstrated uncommon respect to the leadership and members of the Assembly.

To the best of our knowledge, the House of Assembly remains open for legislative business. The good people of Plateau State and members of the public are advised to ignore the allegation and refrain from dragging the Executive arm of Government and the Governor into the affairs of the House.

Those who have any concerns should channel them to the security agencies and desist from peddling falsehood against the Executive arm of Government and His Excellency the Governor.

Insecurity: Stop the blame game and proffer solutions- Jos East APC Elders

Insecurity: Stop the blame game and proffer solutions- Jos East APC Elders

JJos East APC elders have called on good people of Plateau and Nigerians to have faith and continue to support the administration of Governor Simon Bako Lalong in its quest to find lasting solutions to the current security challenges bedevilling the state, they frowned at some politicians who are using the situation to misled the Plateau citizens and Nigerians. The elders stated this while responding to questions from media men during a press conference.

The Elders also frowned at those who are distracting the governor who is working vigorously to restore peace in the state, saying they are not patriotic and sincere, because, the security challenges are not only affecting Plateau state but is across several states in the country including the President home state.

They lamented that while in the other affected states, the stakeholders are putting their heads together and profiling solutions to the lingering crisis, but in Plateau state, the case is sadly different as some people are politicizing the crisis and are blaming the Governor who is working assiduously to return peace to the state; they recalled that Dariye was impeached and yet it does not solve the problems as killings continue all through the Governor Jonah Jang administration.

The elders said they have confidence that Governor Lalong has the wisdom and the competence to address the situations as he has done for the past six years and he's not leaving any stone unturned to overcome the current challenges, what he needed at this time is prayers and support not condemnation.

They caution the members of the Plateau State House of Assembly not to go against the will of the people, saying what the state need now is to let all the arms of government come together to find a way of addressing the situations.

The press conference was attended by several elders; prominent among them were Prof Yohanna Izang, Vice-Chancellor Plateau State University Bokkos, Ambassador Kase Ibrahim, Hon. Rebecca Sambo, Hon. Luka Madaki former Commissioner, Hon Simon Itse Madaki, Chairman APC stakeholders Forum, Elder Agwom Nyam, Chairman Ezere Elders Forum, Hon Sanda Agwom former Jos East Council Chairman.

PRESS CONFERENCE BY JOS EAST STAKEHOLDERS ON THE SECURITY SITUATION IN PLATEAU STATE

29th August 2012

Gentlemen of the press

We begin by thanking you immensely for honouring the invitation of the Jos East stakeholders of APC to brief you on our position on the unfortunate development of insecurity on the Plateau. As stakeholders in the Plateau project, it has become necessary to be part of progress engagements that can restore the peace and progress of our dear state.

You will recall that bloody attacks have been witnessed in the recent past in Bassa, Jos North, Jos South, and Riyom. Although the aforementioned local governments are all in the Northern Senatorial district of the state, we are mindful of the fact that the security challenges are being witnessed in other parts of the state it is a matter of national concern.

The most recent attack has again put Plateau state in the limelight for the wrong reasons as bloodshed; violence and mutual distrust are not part of the definition of the Plateau Spirit. The age-long spirit of accommodation that has earned the state a reputation as the home of peace and tourism is now being put on trial by the activities of merchants of violence who must be condemned by all men of good conscience. As stakeholders, we believe that all men of goodwill must arise to change the narrative of violence which unfortunately has become recurrent since 2001.

OUR STAND

At the end of the meeting of the stakeholders of Jos East APC which was held on the 28th August 2021, we wish to brief you on our stand as follows

  1. We join other well-meaning Nigerians to condemn the killings by whatever guise that have occurred in the recent past in Bassa, Jos North, Jos South, Riyom, and other parts of the state and urge all citizens to uphold the sanctity of human life which can only be given or taken through divine providence.
  2. We believe that the attempts to create a hotbed of crises in Plateau, particularly Northern zone is the handiwork of enemies of progress who are bent on undermining the peace an initiative of the current administration for pecuniary gains, rather than trading blames, it is time to be more united irrespective of tribe, religion or political affiliation.
  3. The Jos East Stakeholders Forum extends condolences to the Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Dr Simon Bako Lalong KSGG, as well as the Government and people of Plateau over precious lives that were lost through the crises of the past few months. We equally call on the Governor not to be distracted, but to remain firm and focus on his determination to restore peace and tranquillity in the state.
  4. The Jos East Stakeholders wish to call it Member representing the Jos East in the State House of Assembly, Hon. Abok Nuhu Ayuba, who by the grace of God is the speaker of the Assembly, to continue to provide necessary, unalloyed legislative support to the Governor which is our core mandate to him, through these trying moments.

May we thank you for the auspicious audience while pledging our partnership with the press, all men of goodwill to restore our heritage of peace stability in our dear state.

Long live Jos East APC

Long live Plateau State

Long live, the Federal The Republic of Nigeria.

Signed: Hon Simon Itse Madaki, Chairman APC stakeholders Forum

3.         It is unfortunate that the people of Plateau State will continue to experience unprovoked attacks on our communities by “unknown herdsmen” that will, hopefully, one day be known to the whole world.

4.         We therefore, commend the Executive Governor of Plateau State, His Excellency, Rt. Hon. (Dr) Simon Bako Lalong, KSGG and all the security agencies on the Plateau for the efforts made so far in curtailing the escalation and aftermath spiral effects of these attacks.

5.         It is to our knowledge that the introduction of Plateau State Inter Religious Council, which the Executive Governor has implemented and the Five Years Road Map to Peace and Security and several other initiatives.

6.         The Governor has also tried, exceedingly well, in the last six years to ensure that Plateau State enjoys some reasonable level of peace and stability, despite limited funds, shortage in logistics support, slow in security interventions and other challenges.

7.         With the unfortunate incidences that lead to death and destruction of lives and properties of some Communities listed above, and the tremendous and commendable efforts of the Governor and his cabinet as well as Security Council in restoring peace and confidence, we noted with concern the nature, quality and contents of the “World Press Conference on the state of insecurity in Plateau State….” by the Plateau State House of Assembly on Friday 27th August 2021. Specifically, we note the following:

a.  We note and appreciate the right of individuals and groups in exercising freedom of speech. We however note that in parliamentary parlance, first motions on the floor of the House are advisory to the Executive and not an issue of ultimatum and subject to a press conference and or release.

b.  The legislative arm should not be seen to usurp the role of the Executive at the expense of their constitutional duties. For example, Employment and Security matters, amongst others are known world over as the function of the Executive and giving directive to the Local Government Chairmen to recruit vigilantes is an affront on the executive and exercise in futility, as responsible citizens of this country, we take exception to that.

c.   Similarly, it is worrisome and embarrassing that instead of being seen working in tandem with the Executive, especially in this most trying period, the Press Conference went as far as giving the Governor ultimatum of two (2) weeks to take action on certain motions of the House.

8.         It is incumbent on us the electorates and good people of Pankshin LGA to hold our elected representatives accountable, given that they are sent on special constitutional mandate for the common good and not to be combative and seen to be running a parallel government with the Executive arm as portrayed in a recent world press conference by Hon. Philip Peter Dasun, Chairman, House Committee on Information in the Plateau State House of Assembly.

9.         Consequently, we the elders and major stakeholders of Pankshin Local Government Area denounce the conduct of our Legislators representing us in the Plateau State House of Assembly, namely, Hon. Philip Peter Dasun, Pankshin North and Hon. Henry Longs, Pankshin South for taking such inimical actions in a world press conference without reverting to the constituents for input and consent.

10.    Arising from some of our germane observations on the contents and representations made above, we, the elders and stakeholders dissociate ourselves with such tactical and strategic blunders that clearly portray conflict of interest between the Legislature and Executive.

11.    Gentlemen of the Press, we the elders and major stakeholders of Pankshin LGA hope and pray that all these perennial killings, wanton destruction of farmlands and properties shall also pass away and Plateau State shall rise again, strong, viral and egalitarian where every citizen will coexist in harmony and tranquility.

12.    Finally, we appeal to elders and all Citizens of Plateau State that we join hands with the Governor to see to it that this ill that has fallen on us be put to an end in its totality. We don’t have any other State than Plateau. This is time for reasoning and not blame shift. We are all brothers and sisters who should be able to resolve our issues and avoid external people tampering with our collective interest.

13.    Thank you and may God bless our dear Plateau State.

Long live Pankshin LGA

Long live Plateau State

Long live Nigeria.

PROF CJ DAKAS MOURNS THE PASSING AWAY OF VOU LOISINTA PWOL

PROF CJ DAKAS MOURNS THE PASSING AWAY OF VOU LOISINTA PWOL

Prof CJ Dakas, has commiserated with the family of Plateau female blogger, Miss
Vou Loisinta Pwol, who died on Saturday in Jos.

Dakas in a statement on Sunday described the demise of Pwol as a shocking death that had robbed Plateau State of a talented young social media entrepreneur who  carved a niche for herself among her peers by impacting positively on the society using her online media outfit,"The State Of Plateau".

According to him, the sudden death of Pwol was a sad occurrence and a big blow to the state and particularly the social media where she distinguished herself and which he would encourage the younger generation to follow in her footsteps and change the society’s narratives for good.

“Vou Loisinta Pwol was a recurring name in the social media space and made her mark as an online blogger who had shown interest in all that were for the good of Plateau State,Nigeria and humanity.

“I have personally and severally read some eye-catching and memorable stories on her online platform which stories were the hallmark of professional journalism, as they were accurate, factual, credible, balanced, objective, reliable and responsible.

“I therefore wish to send my sincere condolences to her immediate family, the media, particularly the Online Bloggers Association in Plateau State, Plateau youths and pray that God grants her soul eternal rest,” Dakas said.

While urging all who mourn her to take solace in the fact that death is an inevitable end for all mortals, Dakas prayed that God would raise more of her kind who would take on the challenges of today, despite life’s obstacles, and fill the huge vacuum created by her exit.

DAYYABU GARGA SADDENED WITH THE PASSING AWAY OF VOU LOISINTA

DAYYABU GARGA MOURNS THE PASSING AWAY VOU LOISINTA
.

I received the sad news of the death of Miss Vou Loisinta Pwol with very mixed feelings yesterday.

This sad event occurred at a time a very pragmatic and enterprising young woman was contributing so much to the course of Plateau State as a media personality of repute through her online platform, “The State Of Plateau".

Having had the Late Vou Loisinta Pwol covered several of my activities under the various Ministries as a Commissioner, The Dayyabu Garga Foundation and my political journey into emerging as the flag bearer of the APC for Kanam Local Government Chairmanship position, the relationship had been that of a father/daughter seeing her exhibition of professionalism.

I believe in the supremacy of the Almighty God that no one questions his will as such urge us to bear this loss so close to our hearts.

My sincere condolence goes to her family and friends, the media industry on the plateau, online bloggers and generality of the plateau youths.

Her memories will remain in us as we journey through the challenges of today looking at a brighter tomorrow.

May God in his infinite mercy grant her soul rest and us all the fortitude to bear this loss, Amen.
