IPA EULOGIZED DR. HARUNA TIMCHANG FOR HIS PHILANTHROPIC GESTURE

In furtherance of its aim to enlighten members of the public on the activities,
achievements, and landmark accomplishments of public figures and institutions, and to boost the morale of deserving public servants, the Independent Publishers Association, IPA, applauds Dr. Ibrahim Timchang Haruna (FCAN), for his remarkable humanitarian activities that are touching lives.

The Chairman of the Independent Publishers Association, IPA Shabul Mazadu stated this in a press statement.

Shabul said it is worthy to mention some of his noble accomplishments which are: donation and installation of traffic lights at British - America Junction worth N13m; facilitated employment of 120 Plateau indigenes into various Federal Government Parastatals; empowering 12 youths with brand new motorcycles; sponsoring 13 students currently studying at College of Health Zuba, Madalla, Niger State; distributed palliatives to the less privileged during the Covid-19 pandemic and lots more too numerous to mention.

He noted that his passionate philanthropic activities have no political strings attached, but community service to his mother state.

IPA is highly delighted with his gesture and says more grease to his elbows. And also appeal to those with the wherewithal to be generous by giving back to society particularly at this time of serious challenges.

Made a desirable and timely appointment; the people you recently appointed to your administration, are people who are ever ready to transform their various communities from agrarian society to a modern one. Neither your decision nor the new appointees came as a surprise because it had been the tale aspirations of the people. Kudos!

The appointments of Hon. Edward Dankun Sunkur as the Council Secretary is indeed a round peg and in a round hole, a man of integrity and honesty that duly deserve the position.

Looking back at his antecedents, it's clear that those who recommended him for the post actually did well because, they did not do it out of their sheer selfish interests, but rather, for the benefits of the generality of people in Pankshin Local Government Areas.

In fact, his elevation to this wonderful position was attributed to his hard work, commitments, dedication and honesty in his political associations. As some of his principles; he always believes in preaching and practising justice and fairness to all as the main instruments for peace, unity and national development whenever approaching issues of development.

The truth of the matter is whenever you do well; you will constantly see well in life no matter what. Hon Edward Sunkur had been industrious, versatile and meritorious in wherever he found himself. Obviously, he has left a good legacy and virtue to extoll in wherever he works.

Optimistically, Hon Kakmena Goteng and the people of Pankshin will not be remorseful for their actions for recommending him to along to serve them in this capacity. For sure what he had done in various places of his official assignment is a child play compared to what shall be in Pankshin as Council Secretary.

His coming is a divine will.
