Spotlight on Bldr. Raphael Chinkik Rume's Academic and Professional Journey

Bldr. Rume's educational background is a testament to his dedication, resilience and hard work. He attended LEA Primary School Mile 8 Fier, Pankshin, and obtained his First School Leaving Certificate in 1988. He then proceeded to Vocational and Relevant Technology Pankshin, earning his Junior Technical Certificate in 1992. His academic pursuits continued at Government Technical College Bukuru, Jos, where he obtained NABTEB and Grade II & III Labor Trade Test Certificate in Block Laying and Concreting in 1995.

Bldr. Rume furthered his education at Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi, and graduated with N.C.E Tech in Building construction in 2000. He culminated his academic journey with a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Building from the Federal University of Technology, Minna, in 2005.

Beyond his academic achievements, Bldr. Rume has demonstrated a commitment to continuous learning and professional growth. He has attended numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences, including the International Conference on Construction and Project Management (ICCPM) in Singapore (2014), Projects Risk Management Tactical & Pro-active in Ethiopia (2012), and Advance Digital Appreciation Programme by Digital Bridge Institute (2019).

Bldr. Rume's expertise in the field is evident in his professional memberships and certifications. He is a Corporate member of the Nigeria Institute of Building (NIOB), Member of the Council of Registered Builders of Nigeria (CORBON), Chartered Project Manager of the Global Institute of Project Management (AGIPM), and Fellow member of the Institute of Management Consultants of Nigeria (IMC-NIGERIA).

As a prominent figure, Bldr. Rume has served in various capacities, including as the National President of the Bukuru Old Students' Association Technical (BOSAT).
