In the spirit of unity, love, and compassion during the
sacred month of Ramadan, the Member Representing Bassa/Jos North Federal
Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. AMB. Daniel Asama, has extended a
heartfelt gesture to his constituents by distributing essential food items to
help cushion the effects of economic hardship during this fasting period.
The Ramadan support package, which includes grains and
beverages, is being shared across various communities within the constituency,
with a special focus on ensuring that the most vulnerable, including the poor
and needy, benefit the most from this act of kindness.
Hon. Asama, while addressing the team of selected community
leaders tasked with overseeing the distribution process, urged them to
prioritize equity, fairness, and compassion in reaching out to those who need
this support the most. He emphasized that the spirit of Ramadan is deeply
rooted in selflessness, generosity, and care for others, especially those
struggling under the weight of prevailing economic challenges.
"As we observe this sacred season, it is important that
we demonstrate true brotherhood by standing with one another. This gesture is
just a modest contribution to support our Muslim brothers and sisters as they
fast and pray for peace, prosperity, and progress for our constituency and our
dear Nation. I call on the distribution leaders to ensure fairness and
transparency, targeting the most vulnerable in our communities,” Hon. Daniel
stated.
He further assured constituents that his office is actively
seeking additional partnerships and support from friends, organizations, and
relevant agencies to expand the intervention and reach more households during
this holy month.
This effort is part of Hon. Daniel Asama's continuous
commitment to the welfare of his people, fostering Religious harmony, and
promoting Community development beyond Political and Religious lines.
May this Ramadan bring abundant blessings, peace, and divine
favor to all.
