JOS CAMPAN HONOR MOTHERS ON MOTHER'S DAY

Jos, Plateau State - The Catholic Media Practitioners Association of Nigeria (CAMPAN), Jos Archdiocese, has joined the global Catholic community in celebrating Mother's Day, paying tribute to mothers within the Archdiocese for their invaluable contributions to families, the Church, and society.

In a statement signed by Chairman Rowland Longs JP, CAMPAN Jos Archdiocese acknowledged the unwavering love, sacrifice, and dedication of mothers, recognizing their pivotal role as nurturers, educators, and pillars of strength.

The association praised mothers for their tireless efforts in raising families, often amidst challenging circumstances, and for being the first teachers, imparting values and guiding their children on the path of righteousness.

CAMPAN Jos Archdiocese also celebrated the diverse roles mothers play in society, from homemakers to professionals and community leaders, and acknowledged their ability to balance multiple responsibilities while radiating love and grace.

The association quoted Pope Francis, who described mothers as "the strongest antidote to our individualism and egoism," and prayed for God's continued blessings upon all mothers in Jos Archdiocese, granting them strength, wisdom, and good health.

The statement concluded with a heartfelt gratitude to all mothers for their immeasurable contributions, celebrating their love, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment to family and faith.
