In an impressive academic feat, former Governor of Plateau State, Senator Joshua Dariye, has been awarded a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree from the University of Jos.
The degree, which was conferred on Dariye after successfully defending his Thesis on 17th March, 2015 after a rigorous academic research.
Dariye's dissertation, was hailed by the university's academic community as a groundbreaking work that sheds new light on the critical role of leadership in driving sustainable development in Nigeria.
Reacting to the achievement, Dariye expressed gratitude to the University of Jos for the opportunity to pursue his academic dreams. "I am humbled and honored to have been awarded this Ph.D degree," he said. "I hope that my research will contribute meaningfully to the ongoing discourse on leadership and sustainable development in Nigeria.
During a light refreshments in his honor at the BridgeView Hotel Jos. The former governor's academic achievement has been hailed by his associates and admirers, who describe it as a testament to his dedication to lifelong learning and his commitment to making meaningful contributions to Nigeria's development.
Dariye served as Governor of Plateau State from 1999 to 2007 and two tenure Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and has since remained a prominent figure in Nigerian politics.
