MY NEW YEAR PRAYER AND COMMITMENT TO THE PEOPLE OF PANKSHIN NORTH, PLATEAU STATE, AND NIGERIA

As we enter this New Year, I thank Almighty God for His mercy that preserved our lives and His grace that carried us through the challenges of the past year. Indeed, “The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end” (Lamentations 3:22–23).

I lift up the people of Pankshin North Constituency, the entire Pankshin Local Government Area, Plateau State, and our great nation Nigeria in prayer. May God grant us peace, security, and stability in our communities. “The Lord will keep you from all evil” (Psalm 121:7). May He strengthen our institutions, protect our people, and restore confidence in leadership at all levels.

In this New Year, I pray for unity beyond politics, progress beyond promises, and leadership driven by service rather than self-interest. May our land experience economic growth, improved opportunities for our youths, support for our farmers, traders, and artisans, and renewed hope for families across Pankshin North. “For I know the plans I have for you… plans to give you a future and a hope” (Jeremiah 29:11).

As a son of the soil and an aspirant to serve, I commit myself to the values of integrity, accountability, and people-centered representation. I pray for the wisdom to speak for the voiceless, the courage to defend the interests of our people, and the grace to work with all stakeholders for the development of Pankshin North, Plateau State, and Nigeria at large.

May this New Year usher in responsive governance, inclusive development, lasting peace, and shared prosperity. May God bless our people, guide our leaders, and strengthen our democracy.
