As your representative, I believe that true Legislative service is not only about making Laws- it is also about lobbying effectively to get what our people need, when they need it, and how they need it.
It was with this conviction that I facilitated the delivery of a cash cheque of ₦20,000,000 (Twenty Million Naira) to support vulnerable and crisis-affected individuals in Bassa Local Government Area. This much-needed intervention was made possible through the generosity of the Office of the Rt. Hon. Speaker of the National Assembly, Abuja, and was officially presented to the Bra Ngwe Irigwe at the District Palace.
This gesture is not just a token; it is a reflection of what we can achieve when representation is intentional and people-focused. I understand the weight of the difficulties we face- displacement, insecurity, economic pressure, and the need for social cohesion- and I want to assure you that I remain fully committed to securing more interventions, facilitating rehabilitation programs, and advocating for Sustainable Development across all communities in our Constituency.
I urge our People, especially the Youth, to remain vigilant, resilient, and united. Security is a collective responsibility. As the Government intensifies its efforts to ensure peace, our communities must also remain alert and committed to protecting our land and values.
In this moment, I pray for God’s healing upon our land and for comfort to all families affected by crisis. Let us remain hopeful and united- our best days are still ahead.
Leadership is not just about holding an office. It is about showing up for the people, speaking for the people, and delivering for the people.
I remain at your service!
Hon. AMB. Daniel Asama Ago (The Anki Kaboh),
Member, House of Representatives
Bassa/Jos North Federal Constituency.
