In his message, Professor Best stated, "Today, we celebrate the dedication, resilience, and invaluable contributions of every single member of our esteemed institution. Your tireless efforts are the very bedrock upon which our university stands and thrives."

He specifically recognized the pivotal roles played by the university's unions: the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU), the Senior Staff Association of Nigerian Universities (SSANU), and the Non-Academic Staff Union of Educational and Associated Institutions (NASU). "Your collective strength, advocacy, and unwavering commitment to the welfare of your members are integral to the smooth functioning and progress of PLASU," Professor Best affirmed.

Professor Best emphasized the synergy between academic and non-academic staff, championed by the unions, as the essence of PLASU. He noted that their collaborative spirit strengthens the pursuit of excellence, fuels research, and enriches the learning environment for students.

The Acting Vice Chancellor reaffirmed the university's commitment to fostering a harmonious and progressive working environment where every member feels valued and empowered. "Your well-being and professional growth remain paramount," he assured. "Thank you, once again, for your unwavering dedication and hard work.
