 TRIUMPHANT ENTRY: KANKE STOOD STILL FOR VICTOR DIMKA

A large crowd of people set aside their daily and other business activities in Kanke Local Government Area to welcome Comptroller David Victor Dimka fsi (Rtd), popularly known as DVD who was at his hometown, Kabwir, on Friday the 8th of April, 2022. to declare his intention to run for the governorship of Plateau state under the platform of All Nigerian People’s Party, APC.

Activities for the homecoming and declaration commenced with a rousing welcome by mammoth crowds who zealously waited for him at the entry point into the locality and accompanied him to the office of the Executive Chairman Kanke Local Government Council.  

At the council secretariat, Nde Victor Dimka said it is proper and out of respect for him to come to the office and seek the blessings of the executive chairman as the chief security officer and father of the council.

DVD further said he has the credentials and capacity to secure victory for the party noting that his government will give special attention to security, youth development, and economic prosperity.

In his response, Kanke Local Government chairman, Hon. Henry Jan Gotip,

extolled the qualities of David Dimka saying his aspiration has added colors and made APC stronger in the locality noting he has all that it takes to win the elections.

DVD and his supporters also visited the APC secretariat; from there he proceeded to the Palace of the Ngolong Kabwir to pay homage and also received a royal blessing before, proceeding to the town square.

Speaking to the pressmen before his formal declaration DVD said his triumphant entry into Kanke has confirmed his acceptability by his people. He urged other aspirants to collapse their structure and join him, noting that as a fellow of the security institutes, he has what it takes to tackle security issues in the state and baguette a prosperous and united plateau to the citizens.

At the Kabwir town square DVD declared his aspiration and also states his desire for working towards the betterment of the lives of the citizens of the state through security, economic prosperity, youth development, and job creation.
