Plateau State Deputy Governor, Professor Sonni Gwanle Tyoden, has finally put to rest all forms of anticipation of his political ambition by declaring to slog it out in the ring with other contestants. 
Tyoden whose loyalty to his principal, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong, was never in doubt constituted a media team comprising of veterans and practicing journalists, and newspaper Proprietors on the Plateau. 
In a brief meeting with them at his official residence in Rayfield Monday, Tyoden made bare his ambition saying he has first of all notified the Governor, and that he is bringing them on board to work towards the success of his project. 
Taking turns to talk, members of the media team commended him for the trust reposed on them, adding that he is in the best capacity to succeed Governor Lalong, considering his very rich credentials, experience and antecidents. Furthermore, they said his loyalty  to the Governor, and their working relationship have proven that he will consolidate on the gains so far made by their administration. 
Speaking on behalf of all members of the media team, a veteran and remarkable journalist, Shittu Bamaiyi, promised to ensure that the team works hard and round the clock to propagate the message of his ambition for the betterment of the state.
