Sen. Mantu, Farewell to a political juggernaut Prof. Dakas

I received the news of the demise of one of Nigeria's political juggernauts and elder statesman, Senator (Dr) Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, with shock.

Senator Mantu's enormous contributions to the entire people of Plateau Central, Plateau state and Nigeria as a whole when he was the Senator representing Plateau Central Senatorial District and Deputy Senate President Federal Republic of Nigeria is a testament to his political sagacity and doggedness.

On behalf of myself, family and associates, I pray God to comfort the hearts of his immediate family, the Pyem Chiefdom, Plateau Central, Plateau State and Nigeria at large.

May Allah forgive him his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah Firdausi.
