He said youth and women empowerment,care for the aged and persons with disabilities,opening the area to the business and technological world are amongst his driving force to lead the LGA.
Garga,while fielding questions from journalists at his residence in Jos as a follow up to his return of forms to contest the Chairmanship of Kanam LGA said the terrain he intends to take is a familiar one as he believes the Local Government system can work efficiently under him.
The Chairmanship hopeful said with the experience he has garnered in Local Government administration,he will effectively bring it to harmonize work between politicians,technocrats and the public for the good of the area.
According to Garga,the youths form the fulcrum of his agenda in the area of education and technological advancement of the area.
He promised to pursue vigorously an educational plan that will support basic and post basic education in the area so as to increase school enrollment within the most rural areas.
Furthermore,he said he will drive infrastructural development to ease the challenges of movement of goods and services in the area through collaboration with reputable organizations that are into such.
Dayyabu Garga said already he has developed a blueprint that his team will follow vigorously and ensure they achieve within the time limit.
"Women empowerment through skills,girl child education,market support,and a scheme to support the elderly are part of my plans to make Kanam an envy of all" said Garga as such our activities will daily reflect the wishes of the people.
Dayyabu Garga,added that he had through partnership with the Dayyabu Garga Foundation sponsored over 53 persons from start to finish of their University Education,provided portable water and instructional materials to schools,treated and operated on over 5,000 persons under the free medical services of the Foundation among so many interventions as such he will expand the friendship at home and abroad to draw the attention of donors to Kanam Local Government Area when he gets into office.
In the aspect of peaceful coexistence,Dayyabu Garga told the Journalists he has plans to continue the peace interventions that has made Kanam one of the most peaceful in the state of recent,applauding the Local Government Chairman,Abbas Adamu Wokdung for doing great in that area.
For portable water and electricity,Garga said these are basic necessities of life as such he will place a lot of emphasis to ensure the perennial water scarcity in the area becomes a thing of the past as there will be collaboration with the state,federal and agencies that will result in having not just water but access to portable water for better living of the people.
He posited that since electricity drives up businesses he is will go after it within the shortest moment after assuming office to see that the relevant agencies responsible for that do the needful.
He assured a favorable environment will be created for investors to come to Kanam and add to its development.
Garga said he will form a close partnership with the Plateau Peace Building Agency to ensure the desire of Governor Simon Lalong to entrench lasting peace in the state is replicated and sustained in the area.
He said he looks forward to having the support of the people of Kanam Local Government as together they will change the face of the area for good.
