The Plateau State Women Support Group for Tinubu and Mutfwang 2027, PWASG, has concluded its zonal executive meeting in Shendam Local Government Area with a resolve to deepen grassroots mobilization and consolidate political structures ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The meeting, held on Thursday, 20th August 2026, brought together the State EXCO, Zonal EXCO, Advisers, and the 6 LGA Coordinators with their respective EXCO members across the Southern Zone
The gathering also had in attendance key political figures including the Executive Chairman of Shendam LGA, Hon. Nicholas Kemi Nshe, the Member representing *Quanpan/Mikang/Shendam Federal Constituency, Hon. Joseph Dashe Dading, and all APC House of Assembly candidates from Shendam LGA constituency.
In an appreciation note, the group commended Hon. Nshe, Hon. Dading and the candidates for honoring the invitation and for their continued support for the group’s objectives.
Discussions at the meeting centered on four critical areas: *mobilization, structure, group identity, and preparations for the forthcoming LGA Inauguration and the 2027 elections.
Members made robust contributions on how to strengthen the group from the state level down to the polling units to ensure effective delivery of votes for the Tinubu/Mutfwang ticket in 2027.
At the end of deliberations, the Southern Zone adopted 7 major resolutions:
Ward and Unit Structure: All LGA Coordinators are to submit the names of their Ward and Polling Unit Coordinators to the Assistant Secretary, Hon. Tabawa Aruku, CNA, within one week.
LGA Coordinators are to forward the official list of APC candidates to the Zonal EXCO immediately after INEC releases them.
Working Relationship: All Advisers and State EXCO members are directed to work hand in hand with the Zonal Coordinator and their respective LGA Coordinators to ensure synergy.
The Cap was adopted as the official means of identification during meetings. The PWASG/APC T-shirt and Cap are to be used strictly for campaigns and courtesy visits.
Patrons and Matrons: Each of the 6 LGAs in the Southern Zone must secure a minimum of 4 Patrons and 4 Matrons before the LGA Inauguration Ceremony.
Every LGA is to identify prominent stakeholders to serve as Chairman, Special Guest, Chairlady and other key roles to support the sponsorship of the inauguration program.
For the LGA Inauguration, all LGA, Ward and Polling Unit EXCO members are to appear in White attire with APC Asho-eke headwear. Members are to wear the official PWASG/APC T-Shirt.
The meeting was described as successful and strategic. The group expressed appreciation to God and to all guests for their support and commitment to the movement.

The group ended with prayers for the success of PWASG, peace and progress of Plateau State, and victory for the APC in 2027.
