The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced that the Presidential and National Assembly elections will be conducted on 20th February 2027, in accordance with the provisions of the 2022 Electoral Act. The Chairman of the Commission, Prof. Joash Amupitan, disclosed this at a news conference in Abuja, adding that the Governorship and State Assembly elections are scheduled for 6th March 2027 nationwide.
