I'm proud to say that our alma mater, Government Science and Technical College Bukuru, has played a significant role in shaping Nigeria's future. For 64 years, the institution has provided technical education to thousands, equipping them with skills to drive innovations, industrializations, and economic growth. This has fostered self-reliance, employability, and boosted entrepreneurship, job creation, and productivity.
The college has also supported infrastructure development, addressed skill gaps in key sectors, and driven mechanization and manufacturing. Notably, the Bukuru Old Students Association (BOSAT) has made remarkable contributions in their various fields, earning the college a reputation as one of Nigeria's premier’s technical schools.
As we move forward, let's continue to harness the potential of young Nigerians to build a skilled, prosperous, and self-reliant country and I believed BUTECH has the foundation and the capacity if properly harnessed.
