Happy independence celebration. Moments like this are for deep reflection to determine the basis for celebration or lamentation. Whatever our issues are, we celebrate this historic day not because all is well with our journey to nationhood but because things can get better in Nigeria. Idowu Koyenikan puts it this way: "Your pride for your country should not come after your country becomes great; your country becomes great because of your pride in it."
