SEN DIKET PLANG STERLING ARTS OF REPRESENTATION

Plang as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria representing the good and peace-loving people of Plateau Central, it will be needful to say that, indeed one of the vital components of our political and democratic system is that it gives the people an ultimate opportunity to determine their affairs through electing trustworthy leaders into political offices, and indeed this time they have made a worthy and excellent choice.
Those who personally know
the antecedent of Senator Diket Plang over the years have a strong conviction
that his positive impact in politics is indisputable, a man of unquestionable
character who has demonstrated an uncommon passion and zeal to serve his people
since his youthful years.
Diket Plang throughout his life has practically demonstrated that the welfare and comfort of the people come first regardless of the discomfort it might have on his personal life or family, a distinctive fellow who feels the rights and privileges of the common man must be accorded him, a politician who feels power comes from the people and they deserve the best from leadership.
This could be seen in the energy he puts in during his
electioneering campaign; to him, the Senate Job is not child's play hence the
engagement of all the critical stakeholders in the process, this could be seen
in his passion for kick-start mandate on high pedestals even when his opponent
were busy at the tribunal trying to subvert the wishes of the people; to him,
it was not a distraction as could be seen in his countenance and contribution
at the floor of the red chamber.
lasting solution were commendable as he was seen on the floor of the house demanding quick and timely action in mitigating the unfortunate crisis that occurred in Mangu and some part of Plateau State. Indeed he was apt in reaching out to internally displaced persons and he was there to thank the First Lady for visiting and donating a huge amount of money to the IDPs; the first of its kind in the state.
Diket first point of call was the empowerment of women and
youths in his constituency, which goes along to mitigate the economic hard of
the people. His constant shuttling between Abuja and his Constituency has
continued to attract commendation and applause.
If Good representation is one of the yardsticks for appraising the efficiency and effectiveness of elected politicians, then from every indication Senator Diket Plang is an exemplifier of worthy representation which, amongst other things entails the adoption and implementation of the hallmarks of genuine, competent, answerable and people-oriented strategies and programmes.
Senator Satso Diket Plang has, since his inauguration,
adopted good and effective representation as a code of conduct and philosophy
in his political life.
The journey has started and it will
get more interested
