Lies, Propaganda Won’t Silence Ngas Ambition

WALBE OGAK

My people, let the truth be told! It is nothing but political cowardice for anyone to say that the Ngas tribe—or any citizen of this country—should not contest for an elective position. Who are they to decide who runs and who does not? This land belongs to all of us, and every tribe has the right to aspire to leadership. Nobody will silence us, nobody will intimidate us!

They are busy cooking up lies, spreading propaganda, and trying to intimidate the Ngas people. But we will not bow! We will not be deceived! Their lies cannot stop us, their propaganda cannot break us, because truth is stronger than deceit. They attack us because they fear us; they spread falsehood because they know that in a free contest, they will be defeated.

Let us be clear: those who hide behind propaganda are weaklings, afraid of the ballot box. If they had confidence in themselves, they would welcome competition. But no—they choose to lie, to deceive, and to intimidate. That is the mark of inferiority, not leadership. A true leader does not silence others; a true leader proves himself before the people.

The Ngas have produced men and women of vision, integrity, and courage. We will not allow anyone to trample on our rights with their lies. We will contest, we will compete, and we will win—not through propaganda, but through the will of the people. Let the enemies of truth hear this loud and clear: the days of intimidation are over. Democracy belongs to all, and no tribe, no community, and no person will ever again be silenced in this land!
